We are looking for a dynamic, pro-active and outcome-focussed individual with the ability to: Work across multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising appropriately Think ahead, anticipating problems, issues and solutions Gather and assimilate information quickly from technical specialists/SMEs Communicate effectively (building personal rapport with customers, suppliers and project teams from CC, providing answers to client on impact assessments) Working knowledge of quality standards, legislation (compliance) and best practice relevant to a financial institute Nice to haves include Project resource management Delivery of support focussed output from projects, that is taking the lead in service delivery Being a truly customer facing techie Technical skills Some level of skills in the following areas covering design and integration of the following technologies VMware/virtualisation Networking principles including routing and security (Cisco predominantly) Audio visual and Unified Comms Windows Server Linux Mainframe & Data Power devices End user devices (Windows PC, Mac, iPad) Cloud services (i.e. IaaS offerings) Nice to haves to add to the list IBM/other middleware apps X86 server hardware (HP and Cisco UCS) Storage (EMC) Data centre technologies from general facilities to environmental monitoring Managed service technologies (e.g. CMDB toolsets and processes)
