**TEKsystems is looking for a SQL Server Developer for an opportunity with our client in Newtown Square, PA.** Responsibilities: - Work with business users and other stakeholders to understand the business processes and data requirements. - Collaborate with Development and Reporting Groups to translate requirements into functional design specifications. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation. - Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. - Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, imports, and stored procedures. - Write, create, and optimize database objects. Required Skills: - 4+ years' experience in SQL Server Development using SQL 2005 and 2008. - The ability to interpret a query execution with a focus on performance tuning. - The ability to contribute to the establishment of coding standards. - The ability to understand technical and functional design requirements. - Knowledge of capacity planning, system security, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. - Relational and dimensional schema design. - SQL Server stored procedures experience. - The ability to troubleshoot and fix database problems which may include capacity problems, log problems, timing problems, indexing problems, and partitioning problems. - Database Administrator experience Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
