The User Experience Interaction Designer creates creative concepts to detailed design specifications using User-Centered design methodologies. Design, deliver, and present high-level user flows, navigation systems, and detailed page schematics focused on business goals adhering to development and project milestones. Collaborate with visual and editorial designers to develop world-class, innovative and holistic experience solutions consistent with company standards. Test design work in production for adherence to specification. Builds partnership with technology partners to ensure defect-free implementation of client-side design solution. The ideal candidate will be able to balance multiple interconnected initiatives while still seeing the big picture and moving towards the target state. Requirements include strong knowledge of design tools and the ability to apply technology solutions to create an optimal design process. Key accountabilities for this role include the following: -Collaborate on and review each project’s business requirements working with Business Analysis team -Define user needs by conducting task-focused analyses -Draft high-level information flows and navigation systems -Create innovative conceptual designs based on the latest web technologies -Present conceptual designs to broad team to obtain buy-in -Develop detailed wireframes -Collaborate closely with the technology development team -Collaborate with the visual design team -Facilitate development of product prototypes for usability testing and proof-of-concept purposes -Help define methodology for usability tests, assist with testing walkthrough, and contribute to reports -Present design solutions to business representatives and other stakeholders REQUIRED SKILLS - Minimum 3-5 years overall Interaction Design experience - Must possess Financial Services industry experience, knowledge of industry trends, competitive advantages, and brokerage product offerings - Demonstrated knowledge of web development process - Strong conceptual design, collaborative, and organizational skills - Must be an experienced producer of wire framing web documentation using Visio DESIRED SKILLS: -Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organization. - Strong process management skills; dedication to detail and deadlines - Motivation for continuous improvement and ability to lead and motivate others - Resilience under pressure and flexibility. - html prototyping, InDesign and other IA tools; Demonstrated experience with Adobe CS3 implementation and optimization strongly preferred - Degree in Web Design or related field preferred
