This position will focus on purchasing of automotive electronic components. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strategic sourcing of sensors. Manage supply base to include renewal of agreements and assisting suppliers in problem solving and tracking corrective actions. Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers and analyze supplier data to prepare analysis and recommendation for supplier selection, with focus on sourcing in low-cost countries. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree required. Concentration in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing-related studies preferred. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Automotive purchasing experience with Tier I or Tier II supplier. Strong skills in Excel/PowerPoint. Technical product knowledge. Proven (direct) experience in supplier negotiations.
