Position Description: The Senior Performance Consultant takes a systematic approach to analyzing, improving, and managing human performance through appropriate and varied people and process solutions on a global basis. Specific responsibilities: · Functions as a performance consultant working directly with customers in the mid-Atlantic / Northeast regions. · Works with multiple levels of management primarily in HR, Training, Sales Training or Business Unit specific training functions to identify needs and propose possible solutions for the business. · Can also function as a Program Manager / Engagement Manager where by helping architect the solution, then managing one or more consultants and he client in the design, development and implementation of the solution. Typical Engagements · Curriculum Audits · Curriculum Design and Development (ILT, elearning and blended) · Specific program development (sales programs, HR related programs) · Process Design and development · Documentation Analysis and Development Key Skills · Strong EXTERNAL consulting skills · Excellent presenter / problem solver · Creative, out of the box thinker · Excellent project management skills · Strong in ISD methodology and development · Understands traditional design and technology-driven design · Stays up-to-date on the latest trends in areas such as social media, technology in learning, evaluation and assessment, blended learning, virtual learning and knowledge management / support Experience · Previous experience working externally (Forum, Accenture, Deloitte, or smaller design and development shops) · Demonstrated experience using a performance analysis methodology such as Mager & Pipe, HPI or equivalent is strongly preferred · Experience working as an instructional designer · Experience leading small and large scale initiatives · Experience with multiple forms of design (classroom, elearning, blended, virtual, etc.) Education · Master’s degree required · Specific certifications required for certain jobs · Doctorate helpful if demonstrated experiences working as a consultant are evident Areas of Expertise Wanted: · Pharmaceutical · Sales force training · Sales Management / leadership development · Coaching · HR specific (such as Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management) · Strong training technology (elearning development, knowledge management, virtual worlds) · Instructional Design and Development .
