Temporary Research Analyst W e are currently recruiting for temporary Research Analyst s with the following language skills, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese & Danish to join our analyst team to assist in the production of our biggest annual report, Project Café Europe & UK. The ideal candidate will have experience in analysing and researching markets , fluent in one of the above languages, an interest in coffee and the current economy and is available to start in the first week of September.   The Role ·          Producing competitor intelligence and benchmarking ·          Collecting, analysing and   synthesising relevant data ·          Preparing reports and analysis on current trends and consumer behaviour within the coffee industry ·          Interviewing industry leaders in the coffee marke t ·          Telephone and online research on coffee pricing, store numbers, branding etc. ·          Researching and analysing the economy and demographics of a European country ·          Professionally representing Allegra Strategies in all external communications and dealings with clients ·          Res ponsible for writing key sections of the report ·          Translate coffee survey ·          Producing research content and reports to Allegra’s high standards ·          Travelling as required to gather relevant data on specific operators and markets     Candidate Profile ·          Educated to degree level or similar ·          Fluent in English to business level (spoken and written) ·          Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders and decision makers ·          Experienced in m arket researc h and writing reports ·          Ability to question data where relevant ·          Strong business awareness and understanding of key market drivers ·          Excellent communication skills (oral & written) ·          Outgoing personality and a flair for dealing with people ·          Diligent, organised and detail orientated team player ·          Excellent proofreading skills ·          Highly PC literate ·                Ability to work alone and within a team   Salary: £10 - £12 an hour Start Date: 3 September 2012 The position is for 4 weeks   No recruitment agent calls please   Please note that due to the high level of applications we receive every day, we can only respond to applicants whose skills and qualifications are suitable for this position.
