Prefer W2 but C2C or 1099 is fine Responsibilities: Our client seeks to augment its staff with skilled consultants in the SAP Performance arena. This role is a senior role that intends to address the strategy associated with SAP Performance as a whole. To be considered the qualified candidate must understand SAP performance across many modules and not just the administrative piece of it, as the strategy behind what functionality works and what will not work is a critical part of this initiative. · Candidates need to understand how to collect performance metrics and use the tools within SAP to gather these metrics. · SQL Tuning is necessary (Oracle expertise would work too), not just a discovery of what is needed, but feedback to the ABAP team on how to do it better. · Tools knowledge must include SAP’s toolset for deriving performance metrics. Must have both functional and technical knowledge of the application · The candidate will need to be able to come up with performance solutions without actually developing in ABAP. They will need to be able to make recommendations without the developer keys to ABAP. Must be able to develop ABAP through SAP. · Ability to run SAP scans through batch programs – 98% of transactions at the client are batch Minimum Required Qualifications: · 1 – 2 years/projects of in depth performance tuning.
