Google provides a process where an email or sms text can be sent to a user when a specific calendar is added, modified or deleted. The problem is, we have a number of private calendars that have a number of subscribers. We'd like to automatically send a notification email to all subscribers of our calendars if an event is added, modified or deleted. Google provides no global settings for calendars, meaning that an administrator cannot set default notifications for a calendar and have them apply to all calendar subscribers. Further, Google APIs do not support setting notifications for calendars for specific users even though a user to a subscribed calendar can set those notifications manually. This project seeks a solution that will automatically send an e-mail to the gmail address of all subscribers to our Google Calendars when an event within that calendar is added, changed or deleted.
