Bilingual Benefits Specialist
Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service in a call center environment Responsible for professionally answering incoming calls, returning calls and making outbound calls as needed Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards Resolve customer/employee inquiries Identify and escalate priority issues Complete required call logs and reports as needed Soft sales; consulting with and educating employees on various products Respond to Employee and Client Calls: · New Hire Enrollments · Qualified Life Events Changes · Benefit Questions · Online Enrollment Support/Website Navigation · Beneficiary/Address Updates · Claim Resolution/Advocacy Qualifications : ü MUST be Bilingual (Spanish / English Speaking) ü Previous Benefits or Insurance background preferred ü Health insurance knowledge preferred ü Ability to acquire and maintain Life and Health license ü Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new computer system applications ü Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone ü Ability to multi-task, including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product ü Ability to problem-solve, use good judgment and remain customer-focused ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent listening skills ü Excellent organization skills and attention to detail ü Ability to work in a team environment ü Ability to remain focused and productive each day with a high energy level and stress tolerance ü Minimum education level: high school diploma ü Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site (8AM-7PM) ü Prior stable work history
