InfoStretch is looking for a Senior Software QA Engineering for a big client of ours in Dallas Area TX. Job Description: Under general direction, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Design, code and execute automated test scripts. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Prepare reports and documentation updates. Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes. May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Requirements: Airline/Travel/Car/Hotel testing experience strongly preferred. 3-5 years of testing experience in web application software Deep knowledge and experience with one or more of the following testing methods, such as functional & integration testing of web applications performance, stress & scalability testing failure injection, security testing Proven ability to program in Java or similar object-oriented language Experience with XML/webservices Knowledge of RDBMS & SQL Knowledge of scripting languages such as perl/php/ruby * Job type: 6+ month contract If this is a match for your experience and skillsets - please send us your resume to http://hire.jobvite.com/j/?bj=ou4HWfwV&s=Dice .
