Project Manager (Pharma / Medical Device Industry
Description: · Under the direction of the VP, CSO, Office of Consumer Medical Safety (OCMS) or designee, the Project Director (PD) has primary responsibility and accountability for managing the budget, timelines and objectives of assigned safety initiatives and processes for OCMS. · The PD will regularly interact and work in close collaboration with the Device Malfunction Initiative Leadership Team, OCMS Management Team and cross-functional champions to ensure the timeliness and quality of safety related deliverables, outputs and initiatives. · In this capacity, the PD functions as the project leader for internal and cross-functional meetings, and is responsible for effectively documenting project requirements, objectives, decisions and actions accordingly per industry standards (eg, Good Documentation Practices). · Role requires previous experience working in a highly regulated environment and familiarity with current US and Global Safety Regulations for Consumer Device Products. · Must possess the insight and flexibility to seamlessly align with evolving and dynamic industry regulations, guidance documents, business needs and action plans. · Previous experience interfacing with Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Compliance highly recommended. · Position requires excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate issues/escalations to the management team. Experience developing, tracking and reporting project quality and Key Performance Indicators/Metrics is highly desirable; including risk mitigation planning and mitigation implementation for at risk deliverables or missed metrics. · A minimum of a Bachelors Degree required; generally has 10+ years project management experience and above average proficiency in project management tools (eg, DashBoard, graphs, Risk Management Planning). · Must be proficient in the following programs: Microsoft Project Plan, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft WORD, Documentum System or like platform for document retention, Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint Please Note: Submit your resume through this posting.
