Senior Analyst - SQL & Audience Research
Our client, a large Media & Entertainment Company, is seeking to engage a Senior Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity. This individual must have a strong ability to research and analyze metrics and data, but also have the ability to understand and articulate how they affect the business. Responsibilities: . Create innovative audience analyses to best position and distinguish client's offerings within the marketplace . Analyze and interpret television consumer tracking sources for business users and support recurring ad hoc requests using sample data . Create custom analyses such as audience reach and network performance, as well as individual show performance reports . Provide regular weekly and monthly performance reports and insights and broadcast results in a creative and concise manner . Work on various projects as assigned by research VPs, Managers and Directors . Create custom PowerPoint presentations and one-sheets using a variety of sources Required Skills: . Strong SQL skills are required . Must have a high skill level in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (must have the ability to create professional looking presentations) . Working knowledge of SAS / SPSS, MicroStrategy, Spotlight or other statistical / reporting tool is a big plus . Any Media Research, Nielsen and/or Viewership experience is a big plus . Must be detail oriented and able to work effectively with limited day-to-day direction . Must have demonstrated ability to deliver multiple, complex projects under pressure, meeting strict deadlines . Excellent oral and written communication skills are required .
