This is a long-term indefinite contract position Pay Range - $18-21/hr DOE Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED Please submit resumes to: nicole.vassiliades@ajilon.com Position Title: Transaction Analyst / Transaction Management Associate Summary of Responsibilities, Essential Duties & Expectations: Our client is seeking a qualified professional with proven results to join our Transaction Management team as an Analyst in our downtown <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Houston office. ? Resolve issues related to forecasting contract errors, meter data transactions, and metering setup for North American Retail Electric Markets in support of billing, forecasting and portfolio management functions ? Monitor and track transactions to ensure efficient and accurate processing ? Gather and verify data against a number of different data sources ? Recognize, reconcile, and correct mismatched data based on certain, established business rules ? Respond to transactional email inquiries within defined standards as outlined in current policies ? Research and resolve market transaction data issues and maintain data integrity across multiple customer information systems ? Interact with the utilities, ISOs, third party EDI vendor and other REPs to ensure data synchronization and timely action on customer enrollments ? Build internal and external relationships through exceptional problem solving, ownership, and follow-through ? Follow established processes and identifying areas of improvement ? Suggest solutions for process and system issues ? Work with cross-functional teams: pricing, sales, legal, billing, customer care, etc. Qualifications (Experience, Competencies, Skills, Education): Requires a Bachelor?s degree and/or an equivalent of experience and education. At least one year of experience in the deregulated electricity industry is preferred. The candidate must also have the following qualifications: ? Working knowledge of transactions, deregulation rules, procedures, and market structure for retail competition ? Experience with IT tools and concepts: MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Crystal, SQL, relational databases, data mining, and business intelligence ? Excellent organizational and communication skills ? Strong computer background including Microsoft Office Applications (Excel skills required and Access skills preferred) ? Solid analytical and problem-solving skills ? Ability to handle high levels of stress and responsibility ? Ability to adapt to changing markets, systems, and processes ?
