Position: Security Compliance Consultant Location: Northbrook, IL Duration: 2+ months Rate: $55 - 75 / hr (negotiable for the right candidate) The purpose of the department is to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our client's information assets. The scope of this job is to manage our client's program for maintaining compliance with the PCI DSS standards and HIPPA. In addition, extensive client interactions relating to technical controls with a wide range of technology-based functions and business groups will be required for problem-solving and tracking of compliance gaps to closure and final resolution. The individual will be responsible for: Maintaining and expertise in the PCI DSS standards and HIPPA Designing a continuous monitoring program for PCI controls and HIPPA Partnering with the QSA to conduct PCI Level 1 audit; Managing overall PCI program including control requirements, control monitoring, and remediation projects; Providing recommendations for remediation of security control gaps; Providing consulting to business units on PCI and HIPPA -related issues; Reporting and communication of security compliance vulnerabilities and recommendations Qualifications Strong Project Management skills Strong Communication and Organizational Skills Knowledge of PCI and HIPPA standards QSA experience would be preferred, but not required.
