Our client, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an Audit Project Assistant to perform the following duties: Assist with compiling audit packets to Third Party Auditors which will include operating expense information, tax bills & information, ancillary expenses, prior year Excel calculations, and audited statements E-mailing Secure Drop Zone packets of information to auditors Ability to save PDF files and move to new folder Responding to requests for additional information to auditors. This may include pulling lease files and copying relevant information to be scanned into SLIM/RPM or mailed/e-mailed Auditing Excel computations of year-end operating expense calculations and Building Expenses Creating Excel spreadsheets that compare prior year data to current year Adding Excel worksheets to existing spreadsheets Checking computations and tying back expense line items to source document Accessing ICGTAX website and printing tax bills Finding information on Insurance worksheet for specific buildings Able to make e-mail and phone call requests for information to landlords Requirements: 6-12 months prior work experience in accounting/real estate/ office environment Ability to follow instructions and maintain organization Clerical skills including pulling files, copying, PDF documents, and e-mailing information Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Familiarity with MS Office products including MS Outlook Internet and Intranet knowledge Attention to detail Undergrad business student helpful but not mandatory
