Job Title Marketing Specialist Location: Benicia, CA Duration -4+months Duties As part of the Molecular Diagnostics, Standards and Controls (AcroMetrix® )group, the Marketing Specialist will aid the business in the tactical exectution of marketing campaigns aimed at driving quick tangible results on revenue. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with product management and market development on projects such as product introductions, tradeshows, market research, digital marketing, sales support and project management of MarCom processes with both internal and outside agencies . Activities will include generation of marketing collaterals, webpages, surveys, and other digital assests. A key activity is the execution of tactics according to an aggressive timeline. Essential Functions Execute both traditional and digital marketing day to day tactics via the internal creative services system Assists with writing and editing of promotional literature, newsletters, direct marketing, and digital marketing projects Submit content for legal and regulatory review Function as a liason between the internal maketing project manager and the business owners Represent the business on tradeshow development planning and executes on key event deliverables Create surveys to gather customer insight and send out to target audiences Assists field sales and PR with marketing requests Produce campaign analytics reports as required Assists in content development for a variety of projects Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required and/or assigned. Skills Have a marketing background with a desire to learn a scientific disciple, specifically molecular diagnostics, or have a molecular biology background with a desire to learn industry marketing Be a quick-learner Works independently with minimal supervison Takes initiative and completes tasks on-time Be collegial and responsible Will ask for help or guidance when uncertain Education Requires a bachelor's degree in molecular biology, marketing or related field with 0-3 year work experience.
