Location: Charlotte Status: Contract Compensation: Submit Competitive Rate Education Level: Not Specified Title: Project Manager Location: Charlotte, NC Type: Contract Duration: 3 months Job Description: Our client, a leading provider of cable and telecom services, is seeking a Project Manager to work with cross-functional project team members on numerous assigned projects. This person will be responsible for developing and managing project plans that encompass the complete product development life cycle (ie product requirements, development, quality assurance, deployment etc.). Duties include: Determines detailed approach and timeline of projects. Defines roles and expectations of team members and ensures timely feedback. Resolves issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline. Creates and manages contingency plans for the project, if necessary. Required Skills: Background working on SSAE16, SAS 70, or ISO 27002 certification of an Enterprise Data Center or IT organization. Expert project management skills, especially communication skills, project planning, risk management, team management and organizational change management. Must have solid experience in all aspects of a major implementation, including planning, development, testing, parallel, production release, support and post-release stabilization. Must have hands-on experience in developing, leading and managing highly complex projects. Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles. Professional project management credentials (such as PMP) or equivalent. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a technical field, such as, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered. 7+ years Project Management and Information Systems Security life cycle experience.
