We are looking for a ASP.Net Developers for a 6 + months contract at Minneapolis, MN. The client is in Minneapolis MN, but the work will be done remotely. They would prefer candidates to be located in Boston so they can manage the remote work a little easier. But they are open if the candidate is not local, as long as they are a rock star. The first 3 weeks or so this person will have to work in Minneapolis MN, and then it is remote after that. The expenses for those first 3 weeks will be reimbursed by the client. No of positions : 4 Duration : 6 + months Rate : 60$/hr on C2C Position Requirements Project Description: Work on enhancements to existing information exchange and knowledge sharing within the healthcare spectrum. Improving Intake and the Patient Experience through streamlining administrative workflow and access the network, state and government Healthcare entities. This resource will work with a small but very senior development team. Candidates must have extensive experience with Agile development processes that include test and behavior driven development, automated unit testing, continuous integration, and short, rapid deployments. Candidates must have an understanding of how software architecture and design can be reconciled and developed using agile processes. Candidates must have an understanding of how requirements are elicited from customers, captured, refined, and tracked in agile methodologies. Ideal candidate is a highly enthusiastic team member excited about learning new technologies and continually evolving an operational system. General Responsibilities:  The web Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of web-based software using various software platforms including, but not limited to, .Net, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.  Write ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript and SQL code for web applications. Apply current technology to solve technical problems and ensure system and application performance is optimized.  Support and confer with business community to determine business and technical requirements.  Analyze business application requirements of various scope and complexities in order to support business management objectives.  Design, develop programs, test, document, implement and support business solutions of varying degrees while maintaining the highest quality possible.  Tests and deploys software applications.  Develop software applications and functionality in solving environment.  Able to understand use cases, process accordance with systems analysis definitions and requirements.  Work with Strategic Technical Partners in developing electronic interfaces. Mandatory Skills:  7+ years of experience.  Expertise in ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript and SQL code · Experience working with a small development team using an Agile/Scrum methodology.  Experience with Agile development practices, specifically TDD, BDD and Continuous Integration  Complete understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.  Good knowledge of Object Oriented design and development.  Experience and firm comprehension of web based application development.  In-depth experience of operations and control procedures for high quality software development.  High level of output and contribution to the software development team.  Able to understand use cases, process flows, and other functional specifications delivered by the Business Analysts to implement software solutions.  Work cooperatively with product development management. Preferred Skills:  Experience with scalable and high availability software architectures  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team setting.  Healthcare experience.
