Knowledge/Skill Requirements: BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline 10+ years of network engineering and design experience with Cisco and Juniper infrastructures, including large scale core data center networking, cloud computing platforms, and networking products such as firewalls and load balancers 2+ years experience with networking for multi-tenant virtualization environments 2+ years in Technical Lead or Architecture role. Familiarity with cloud reference architectures including Cisco VMDC, VCE Vblock, NetApp Flexpod, etc… Some System Administration experience (Linux/UNIX) would be helpful. Understanding of storage and compute platforms as well (EMC, NetApp, Cisco UCS, etc.) Proven experience at leading the design and solutions from conception to implementation. Experience with all aspects of architecture including application, data, security and infrastructure. Expert architecture design and modeling capabilities. Experienced with program/projects involving complex integration of disparate technologies/platforms. Advanced ability to apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business results and/or minimize risk regarding the integration of applications across multiple product systems and delivery channels. Ability to get up to speed quickly on organizational structure, business strategies, processes, and terminology to support the organization. Strong leadership skills that can effectively manage large cross functional technical teams and ability to define, influence and impact the technical direction of a project. Advanced ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions and execute within an intense high-tech environment. Analytical thinker, with ability to solve problems. Expert documentation skills. Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
