Responsibilities Translate business/systems requirements into high level and detail technical designs Completes efficient coding and unit testing on complex applications Provide assistance to Technical Lead/Project Manager in estimating work efforts Skills BS in CS or equivalent with 4+ years of software development experience Minimum 4+ years experience as ETL designer / developer using Informatica PowerCenter 8.1, PowerExchange CDC, PowerConnect Deep knowledge in database (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server) Good programming knowledge in PL/SQL Proven experience with the design and development of large scale ETL solutions integrating multiple source systems and must have experience with unstructured data Analyzing source systems for data profiling and creation of source to target mapping specs Designing and developing exception handling, data standardization procedures and quality assurance controls Optimizing ETL performance Solid understanding of overall data warehouse design principles UNIX shell scripting skills
