Job Description: Title: Telecom Analyst II (4880) Client: PepsiCo Duration: 5-6 Months Location: Winston Salem, NC 27105 Employment type: Contract High Level Job Description: Working within the Telecom End User Services group (EUS), the role of Telecom Associate is to assist in the baseline work with the EUS Telecom team. The Telecom Associate needs to be highly skilled in MS office application products, knowledgeable about Cell Phones, Smart Phones, Pagers, Calling Cards and Audio / Web Conferencing. Telecom Associate must have a proven track record of using industry best practices in a customer service helpdesk environment. The Telecom Associate must demonstrate the ability to coordinate and implement new product rollouts in alignment with enterprise plan and strategy. 2 - 4 years experience Job Description: The Telecom Associate will be a part of the Telecom End User Services (EUS) team and act as a Tier I technical support contact for all wireless mobility issues with an emphasis on Apple iOS, Blackberry and Air Card technology. This position requires a proven track record of using industry best practices in a customer service helpdesk environment. The Telecom Associate will be required to perform detail oriented baseline work such as budget and inventory management. The position will require daily use of an inventory management application to ensure all wireless services are assigned to eligible employees. The Telecom Associate needs to be highly skilled in MS Office application products and will be responsible for executing and evaluating reports in excel format. The Telecom Associate must also demonstrate the ability to coordinate and implement new product rollouts in alignment with an enterprise plan and strategy. Knowledge about cell/smart phones, pagers, calling cards and audio / web conferencing is a must in order to assist other teammates. Daily use of the BlackBerry BES Manager console Daily use of the MDM platform solution Create/Manage/Respond to trouble tickets to resolve user problems within organizational SLA’s Monitor a help desk email inbox Ability to provide technical assistance through hands on, phone, or email communication Play a key role in maintaining the company’s inventory of 48,000+ services utilizing an online inventory management application Execute and evaluate weekly/monthly reports in Excel format Responsible for budget management within daily activities (MACD’s) Able to plan, direct, or carry out special projects as needed Skill Sets: Required: Apple iOS and BlackBerry knowledge; MS Office experience; excellent problem solving, communication and writing skills Required Qualifications Minimum Job Requirements: 4 year degree from an accredited university preferred; Minimum 2 – 4 years experience in wireless industry and providing technical support in a corporate environment; Proven track record in customer service helpdesk environment; Technical troubleshooting knowledge and hands-on experience with smartphone (specifically Apple iOS and Blackberry), air card, cell phone, calling card and pager technology; Prior knowledge and experience with Applie iOS and BlackBerry BES Manager preferred; Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook); Strong skills in training and implementing projects on time; Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, communication and writing skills.
