The Sr. Test Manager reports to the Corporate and Shared Services Workstream Lead Test Manager and provides testing support as assigned. This role requires a seasoned Sr. Test Manager with banking, Finance, GL, MRP systems, Regulatory Reporting, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Data Conversion testing experience, and can plan, lead and execute testing efforts on large projects as needed. Partnership with all levels of program resources is key (developers, test coordinators, test analysts, project managers, business SME's and outside vendors). Responsibilities: * Lead multiple test projects simultaneously * Plan and lead the successful completion of SIT * Plan and lead the successful completion of UAT * Plan and lead the successful completion of Data Migration and Conversion Testing * Review test documents * Lead the creation of SIT, UAT and Data Conversion test plans and approvals * Lead the creation of Test Calendars * Plan and coordinate the layout of the test phases and test cycles * Plan and estimate resource needs and efforts * Organize and secure test resources including LOB and IT testers, outside vendor resources, environment support resources test approvers, etc. * Determine all application needed to conduct successful end-to-end testing * Work to secure test environments for all applications involved in end-to-end testing * Defect Management and Tracking * Status Reporting * Plan and conduct test planning, status and Exit Gateway meetings * Coordinate application teams with other interfacing applications to perform testing and resolve issues * Participate requirements gathering for testing, kick-off/handshake meeting with Business and Risk Stakeholders to perform testing and resolve issues * Coordinate application teams in the creation, maintenance and execution of test cases and E-E business scenarios * Communication point for Testers, Coordinators, Project Managers, Vendors, and Lines of Business Prerequisites: * Possess at least 7 years of leading SIT, UAT, and E-E testing experience * Possess at least 3 years of leading Data Migration and Conversion testing experience with Banking Finance Applications GLM, and MRP testing support (Daily and Monthly batch file process) * Possess at least 5 years of experience in a distributed environment * Possess at least 3 years of banking industry and Finance Accounting domain knowledge * Lead a diverse team of at least 8 Test Leads and Analysts * Experience working with on-shore and off-shore resource models * Experience in bank mergers and acquisitions would be a great benefit * Experience testing in an ASP (Hosted) solution model is a plus * Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center * Possess a solid understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics analysis, methodologies, and documentation standards * CSTE or CSQA Certification would be a great benefit * Possesses a University Degree / College Diploma in Computer Science and/or a minimum 5 years of systems experience as a functional testing professional Skills: * Be extremely organized and can coordinate necessary tasks to complete testing * Work independently in a fast paced environment * Ability to manage and lead a large group of diverse resources * Can work closely with business partners to achieve User Acceptance Testing * Can work closely with technical partners to achieve System Integration Testing * Can work closely with all partners to achieve Data Conversion Testing * Can work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously * Possess solid analytical skills for complex problem solving * Exhibit solid communication skills; written and verbal
