JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct Analysis of market conditions to proactively manage changes in the market place & develop project plans to address such issues. Is resourceful in obtaining relevant information for developing new commodity strategies, considering the entire supply chain, information and economic considerations. Compile and synthesize both business requirements and external market conditions to develop optimal commodity strategy with full understanding of potential shortfalls and risk mitigation plans. Develops and compiles required Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) to facilitate development of sourcing strategy. Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business or a Technical major such as Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain or other discipline) required. Master's degree (MBA) preferred. CPM or Six Sigma credentials preferred. 7+ years of sourcing experience in a sophisticated corporate environment with an ability to influence others. Prefer solid experience for Contract Manufacturing, Digital Distribution-Film & TV Content Delivery/eCommerce, and/or Post Production. Industry experience not required. Consulting experience preferred. Advanced expertise in MS Office including but not limited to Excel (Pivots, Vlookup, Conditional Functions, etc. are required. Macros are not required), Outlook, PowerPoint, Word required. Advanced analytical and price structuring/modeling skills required. Must have proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, advanced computer literacy, ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, and a team building work style for a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in developing complex RFPs and conducting complex bid analysis required. Strong supplier management/performance measurement monitoring experience. Must be knowledgeable of, and experienced in, application of Strategic Sourcing best practices. Ability to deliver professional and effective communications, verbally or in writing thorough presentations that are persuasive, and result in positive impact on the business.
