Position Summary: The VMware Administrator will assist in designing the VMware environment and oversees server refresh, builds, and migrations. The VMware Administrator will participate in the Capacity Management process ensuring that the solution meets the business requirements and aligns with the existing IT standards. Responsibilities Include: Build new virtual servers as needed. Perform physical to virtual server migrations as needed. Design the VMware environment ensuring consistency within the enterprise. Provide consulting, guidance, and/or ownership as appropriate, to project teams, business analysts, service delivery personnel, clients, and management on technical issues. Stay abreast of new or emerging VMware technologies that align with Client’s vision and strategy. Recommend and seek Management approval for Strategic direction of technology. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree 1 year VMware experience required Must have a strong understanding of vSphere 4 or greater
