Duration: 3 Months Contract Location: Raleigh, NC/ Zip Code: 27616 Compensation: Depend on Experience Role: Embedded C/C++ Programmer Role Description: The Embedded C/C++ Programmer would need to have at least 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities: - Embedded code development, maintenance, validation and release following a structured engineering process to assure product quality and reliability. - Develop firmware for 10 to 200 kVA three phase UPS systems. Responsibilities include design, coding, unit test and release of firmware. - Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs. - Troubleshoot/ debug embedded code and track software and operational bugs to closure. - Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs. - Understanding of single-phase and three-phase power systems and power distribution is a plus. Required Experience and Skills: - Extensive experience writing code for embedded processors in "C"/"C++" languages. - Knowledge and experience programming DSP processors, TI fixed-point processors as well as microcontroller peripherals including PWM, A-D, and D-A converters, PLDs, and Flash memory is a plus. - Ability to read schematics and interpret the behavior of electronic systems.
