Test Development Engineer - Test design and Validation. Herts You will need to have designed test for validating products through the manufacturing process. The skills of choosing which test and why are the fundamentals of the job. You will be validating all new hardware/software products, and Design & Build/specify bespoke test equipment for development/production use. You must have at least two years experience of test design in a development or manufacturing environment, and be qualified to HNC / HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering. Must be able to fault find to component level. Must have experience of procedure writing and documentation. Must have experience of the use of electronics test equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes etc.). Must also have- · Good attention to detail in both work and documentation. · Good all round engineering skills to meet a variety of testing. · Good written/verbal communication skills. · Good use of Microsoft Office Word/Excel. · Configuring PCs for technical use. Experience of software and use of a CAD package would be advantageous.
