Organization name Beauty Tips Section Website for Existing Website Description of the organization and its target audience Overview of project ================ We want to provide access to short interesting articles / tips to users of our existing website about beauty. We're currently selling every month a box full of beauty samples to a group of fans of beauty like the BirchBox.com project. Our website is called MaBoiteàBeauté (My Beauty Box in French) : http://www.maboiteabeaute.com/ This community is very active and we think they'll contribute a lot and share beauty tips. Sources of inspiration / Websites =========================== A few sources of inspiration and projects that are very alike (for general purpose content, and not only for beauty -- but the concept is the same) http://www.wikihow.com/ (in English) http://www.commentfaiton.com/ (in French) It is important to draw a lot of inspiration from these both websites. Except our logo / color scheme, which is our identity of course, we don't need to keep the actual website as it will be a totally separate section from current website. Industry Cosmetics & Beauty Existing website to reference http://www.maboiteabeaute.com Number of pages needed 3 Page descriptions Here are the three main things needed to start : Home Page Content Page Author Page Main functionalities for user ======================= 1/ Home Page This page will display the latest content, best content, best contributors. 2/ Content Page This page will display the content in short steps by steps (very important part). It will also display at least one image to illustrate the content. It will also show who the author of the content is and a way to access the author page. 3/ Author/Contributor Page The author page will leave room for a short bio, and a profile image. A blog / facebook / twitter link. It will also show all the other contributions from the person (content or comments). 4/ Facebook Connect / Account To ease the account creation, we're going to allow the users to directly connect with Facebook Connect. Regular account creation, through email, will also be used. Profile image will be imported from Facebook if the user has used Facebook Connect. Facebook Connect will be the preferred way of login on the website and should be displayed pro-eminently. 5/ Badges / Points We want to reward our top contributors with badges / points / stars (whichever you feel better for design).
