Job Description: Our client is seeking to hire a Sr. Desktop Support Analyst due to increased workload associated with the Windows 7 / Office 2010 upgrades. This individual does not need to possess prior experience with a Windows 7 upgrade project, but should have demonstrated Windows 7 knowledge. The primary focus of this role will be to provide support and issue resolution to our clients users, while others on the team will be focused on performing the actual upgrade rollout. Job Duties: -Provide excellent customer service and problem resolution for all escalated issues from the Enterprise IT Helpdesk - Provide in-person desktop support for Windows XP / 7 Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite 03 / 10, Microsoft Outlook / Exchange, HP hardware, printers and peripherals - Perform both hardware and software installations, as well as, replacing leased PC hardware - Provide support for various mobility devices including Blackberries, iPhones, iPads, etc. - Demonstrate expertise in a Windows OS environment and advanced troubleshooting skills - Possess basic knowledge of networking concepts Additional Job Info: This position will initially be responsible for supporting the Windows 7 / Office 2010 upgrade projects. However, there are additional projects immediately following the completion of this rollout. Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) : 1.
