TEKsystems, partnered with an area Healthcare client, is looking for a DB2/ Cobol Developer who has hands-on experience and knowledge of Java based technologies. With over 60 people in their production group, qualified candidates will ideally have 5-10 years of Mainframe experience (VSAM, JCL, CICS, DB2, Cobol), 2-3 years of Java experience (experience with simply code and bug fixes as well as the understanding of Object oriented design), and 2-3 years of MQ Series. The candidates will be responsible for 90% new development (centered around existing processes) and 10% production support (code has a 30-day warranty offered on it). This individual will not interact with the business but will rather interact with technical teams/ staff to figure out the best way/ solution to accomplish something. Candidates MUST know JAVA.
