Payroll Analyst
Description This position is located in the National Payroll Services Accounting department and is responsible for using payroll data to calculate and initiate payment for various payroll related disbursements, including union dues, pensions & trusts and charitable contributions. Requirements: A keen understanding of all accounting practices is necessary for this position. Excel skills including Vlookup and Pivot Tables are required. Accuracy and attention to detail are required. Experience Level: minimum of 3+ years of direct relevant experience in payroll or accounting. Education requirements: High School; degree preferred Scope of the project: Cover disbursement tasks while an employee is on a job rotation Top Skills: Accuracy, Attention to detail, Good Excel skills Top daily responsibilities: Responsibilities are weekly and monthly. Run queries, balance them to payroll related reports, calculate payments, analyze variances, prepare check requests. Respond to customer requests.
