For this position, candidate must be local to Charlotte, NC and able to work for any employer on a W-2 basis. Our client in the Charlotte, NC area has a need for a Senior IT Business Analyst experienced in creating BRD's, FRD's, and traceability matrix. Business Analyst must have several years of experience with the following: - Eliciting requirements through various methods for the purpose of business and technical process mapping and requirement documentation - Recognizing the difference between business, functional, and non-functional requirements based on information gathered from the Business and other SMEs. - Leading/facilitating requirements gathering sessions. - Authoring and maintaining business and functional requirements documentation from scratch. - Authoring use cases to further define user and functional requirements and assist in technical design - Champion the compilation and/or authoring of Technical requirements documentation - Authoring and maintaining traceability matrices for managing requirements from definition to testing - Authoring test scenarios, test scripts and executing manual testing - Establishing and fostering relationships with business sponsors, owners and subject matter experts - Negotiating deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation by leading communication between business units and IT - Evaluating and implementing new initiatives for process improvement and technology initiatives - Escalating issues with processing and operations identified as a result of analysis - HP Quality Center (testing/defect tracking) - Clarity (project/time tracking) - Microsoft Visio (process diagrams/flows) Join TEKsystems(®) and get your career on the fast track.
