Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Dorset Hourly Rate from £16-19per hour Are you a time served Multi Skilled Electrical, Mechanical, dynamic, forward thinking Maintenance Engineer who is an experienced Engineering Contractor? We have excellent opportunities in the South West area within FMCG / Food establishments covering short term, long term, fixed contracts and ad hoc work You must have the ability to hit the ground running, and the ability to communicate at all levels. The Electrical / Mechanical Contractor will be responsible for responding to breakdowns, reactive and scheduled maintenance to deliver an effective maintenance system. Using fault finding skills you will work with production team members to identify potential opportunities to reduce production downtime and carryout improvement activities / projects. Equipment on site may include Conveying systems, Metal Detectors, Ovens, Check Weighers, Spiral Freezers, Cooling towers, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, Flow Wrappers and Packaging equipment, plant equipment will be PLC controlled. The successful time served Multi Skilled Contractor, will possess certificated qualifications and strong abilities in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. You will have previous experience working within a food, drink or hi-speed manufacturing environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
