In this Quality Assurance Tech II role in Seattle, Washington, you will be responsible for: * Planning and implementing test plans, test cases and test matrices * Using your technical knowledge to design and develop scripts and tools for test execution * Develop, maintain and improve automated tests * Work with product management, development and content operations to ensure complete functional path coverage * Software test implementation and execution including issue reporting and defect tracking * Black box and white box testing * Other test related tasks as needed Moreover, you will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where agile development is embraced and innovation is encouraged. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Minimum 3 years of QA and Testing experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent * Experience as a part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment * Excellent fundamental knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Expertise with full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, test reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Preferred but not required, additional qualifications: * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent * Experience with testing methodologies for consumer devices * Experience testing web applications on a variety of operating systems, platforms and clients * Experience testing online storage systems * Experience designing, implementing executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality * Deep technical understanding of QA methodology and tools such as schedulers, frameworks, and harnesses * At least 1 year of hands on experience in Java/C#/C++ for automation and scripting in Perl, Python or Shell for debugging * Knowledge of Unix based operating system and tools
