Our client, located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with Loan Origination experience to perform the following duties: * Performs and leads processes related to testing activities for new software development systems and applications * Develops and executes formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications * Serves as a mentor to lower level testing analysts and may provide work direction to others in project team(s) * May provide supervision to direct reports including performance management and associate development The following skills, knowledge, characteristics and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: * Loan Origination experience is a must * Consumer mortgage experience * Ability to work independently to define, manage, and complete activities * Knowledge of the software testing discipline and its integration with software development life cycle * Ability to track and develop metrics for testing * Experience implementing testing processes/methodology in large, complex, diversified, global organizations * Experience with all types of major system development and deployment projects, especially using COTS solutions * Acquires knowledge of the customer's business in assigned area and industry * Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Strong analytical skills * Proven problem solving ability * Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly * To the extent that it is reasonable, goes the -extra mile- to make sure that each individual's needs are met. * Tailors the information to appeal to the level and interest of others * Outlines potential cost/savings outcomes of technology use * Understands how the IT group operates and how his/her role meets customer needs and creates value * Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation * Takes initiative to work on challenging or 'stretch' work assignments * Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
