Functions Include: * Be responsible for operations support of 50-75 Microsoft SQL enterprise-level Database Servers * Work daily trouble and change queues * Utilize advanced problem solving skills and project builds * The successful candidate will be motivated and possess excellent incident solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills * Work with peers and in cross-functional team settings * DBAs in this environment will be responsible for continuous improvement focus and to continually review database environments with a standing goal of improving upon existing operations including performance metrics, process automations, and documentation as a requirement for this job An Expert Skill Set is required in: * SQL 2005 / 2008 Support * DB Build, migrations and configuration Best Practices * DB Performance Tuning for OLTP and VLDB * Resource Monitoring and Maintenance * SQL clustering and highly available databases * Proven written and verbal communication skills are essential * MS Office Nice to Have: * Daily task automations skills * Corporate Finance experience
