Job Title: Data Warehouse Solution Lead/Consultant Solution lead responsible for Supply Chain analytics Duration: Contact to Hire Location: Pleasanton, CA Contract to hire position (Citizens or Green Card holders only please) Responsible for driving the design and development of end to end strategic and tactical solutions for Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence for Supply Chain analytics area. This includes consulting with Business Partners to steer requirements, develop solution alternatives, estimates and translating client business requirements into specific technical systems/applications or process designs for large complex DW/BI solutions using an integrated architecture working with multiple cross functional teams within IT and business. Specific Responsibilities include: Providing thought leadership to drive optimal and innovative solutions for DW/BI Working with business clients to deliver strategic and tactical solutions. Influence and educate business partners to obtain consensus on optimal solutions and align to long term strategy. Working with functional and technical associates to gather business requirements, provide technical support/consulting, plan and prioritize work, as well as coordinate the completion of work done by various teams Leading the design and implementation of complex data integration and BI Solutions to meet product/project specific requirements Creating high performance and highly scalable designs Establishing and implementing Data Integration/ETL and BI best practices, guidelines and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices Apply established methodologies, processes, and procedures to solution delivery; contribute to development of new processes and the continuous improvement of existing processes leading to operational excellence for application areas Continually improve personal and team capacity to deliver high quality solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Communicate risks for understanding and mitigating risk areas Qualifications & Skills At least 10+ years of design and development experience in IT Industry BS degree or equivalent required 8+ years dedicated experience in developing end to end Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications. Solid understanding of data warehouse methodology and BI/Analytics including data modeling, data integration/ETL processes and technologies (such as Informatica) Must have designed, implemented Data Integration processes in a high volume, complex multi-source environment Strong hands on experience in Data Integration/ETL toolsets in high volume data environments, including performance tuning Experience leading teams to deliver high quality BI solutions Ability to analyze and design data conversions using integration tools, best practices and processes Ability to design methodologies for full system development life cycles Demonstrated ability to translate/communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring simultaneously.
