This software engineering contract position requires performing in a multifunctional team comprised of systems engineers and software engineers. The candidate selected will be involved with the development of avionics software for the US DoD rotary-wing and/or fixed wing market. The primary role of this assignment is support of the displays application software on the aircraft. ** Requirements: **The assignment will require the verification of software requirements by creating and running functional tests in a laboratory test facilities utilizing a combination of simulations and interfacing subsystems. The test scripts will be written in Python (knowledge of Python is a plus). In addition, the assignment may require assisting in other elements of the system engineering process such as requirements analysis and capture, system/sub-system design, software requirements definition, software/hardware integration, and software implementation using a Model Based programming environment.
