Senior Underground Mine Surveyor - FIFO Perth
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will play a key role in the Surveying Team for this gold operation and be involved in all mine surveying activities. This role will suit a proactive person with strong interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful here you will need to be a highly organised individual who both thrives in an autonomous position but also enjoys working within a positive team environment. Duties and responsibilities include: Review all activities and processes in the surveying department Plan and oversee the collection of underground spatial data Weekly departmental planning Management of departmental budget Approval of mining plans Auditing field works/staff appraisals Train and mentor staff You will need: 5 + years in survey experience in underground operations A relevant degree qualification in Mine Surveying or Diploma of Engineering and Mine Surveying. Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency Grade 1 A thorough understanding of surveying and of survey geometry Mine design Experience inleading a team of surveyors Vulcan experience Salaries for this role will be between $140,000 - $170,000 per annum however we will look at salaries outside this range candidate dependent.
