Applications to be developed: • BlackBerry application. • Web services: used by BlackBerry app. BlackBerry application: Archivist has developed a C# .NET web application thinking to the best way for the customer's travelers to rapidly and easily access to see the information about their business travels. BlackBerry application is the portable version of the online application with some distinguished and special features. The web application and its database are already developed and online. BlackBerry app have to call the new Web services for managing data on the database used by the web application. This means that BlackBerry app doesn’t have direct access to the database. These web services have to be developed in C#.NET language and installed on the same web server where web application is placed. The database is a MSSQL database. The developer of the BlackBerry application and its web services has to search in the source code of the web application (developed in C#.NET) which are the fields and the tables of the database used. For example, developing BlackBerry alert section, the developer should open the web application source code for searching the table and fields used for displaying data in the left Alert box of the homepage of the web application. The information displayed in the alert box are now taken by the database following this rule: get alert information of the last 48 hours for all the countries. In the BlackBerry app will be the same but for only the Countries corresponding to all trip destinations of the logged in user.
