Job Description: Adecco is seeking several financial analysts and system Analyst positions available for one of its Fortune 500 customers located in the Brandon area. The Financial Analyst will assist by partnering with the leadership team heads and their directors helping them to achieve and report against their financial goals and objectives, providing transparent analysis allowing insight and the ability to tightly manage financial performance. Focus on expense control, monthly financial reporting/analysis, annual plan/budgeting, and re-forecasting will be a high priority. Additionally the ability to manage multiple priorities, inter-face with all levels of management, effectively communicate (both written and verbally), and deliver completed analysis on many ad-hoc financial requests under tight time constraints is required. Job Experience: Key Responsibilities: *Very proficient and experienced with Excel & Access (spreadsheets, formulas etc.), SQL, Oracle, Unix, experience a plus. *Monthly Financial expense analysis - Activities include: *Budgeting/Forecasting Analysis: • Re-engineering of existing templates in Excel to PEARL and Access for the three above mentioned schedules • Ability to interact with senior management and have the ability to manage a department as a self starter • BS in Accounting/Finance and CPA highly preferred • 7 + years of related financial services experience within a major financial institution in the following areas: G/L accounting, treasury, brokerage accounting, financial analysis and variance analysis and 5 + years of Supervisory experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required • Intermediate Microsoft Word required, Visual Basic (for macros) desired • Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Access, ESSBASE and Business Objects is required • Ability to independently manage a group without senior management involvement • Have a commitment to detail. • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work with all levels of management • Ability to change focus/multi-task Keywords: Accounting
