Our talented technology group is looking for an experienced IT professional to join our North America etrading team as a senior java developer. Our etrading team manages our ecommerce offering and works closely with the business to maintain and grow our competitive advantage. This role is for a senior developer to enhance our central limit order technology stack, futures order placement and spreader technologies. Technical Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/Engineering or related field Strong Banking/ETrading/Front Office/Rates IT a MUST Core java 1.6/1.7 Spring/Hibernate Multi-threading Solid understanding of OO principles Unix/Linux experience Relational database concepts and knowledge in SQL Excellent communication skills (there is a requirement to be trading facing) Passion for technology, especially Java Self-motivated and a desire to progress your career Flexible and adaptive, team player Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organized Comfortable in presenting suggestions for change and or improving work flow Additional Information / Preferences: Knowledge of any financial products especially the Rates markets is desirable Experience of working with large financial software systems Job Responsibilities / Role: Requirements analysis and capture Development of the etrading platform Testing and UA coordination Liaison with the global business and development teams Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues Third line support of the platform during trading hours When Responding Please Provide Current Location!!!!!!!!!
