About the project: Designing real world products, components and fixtures that will last and practical for equipment that measure and test particles in labs / research facilities. Responsibilities: o Develop conceptual design that would translate into real world products, components and fixtures. o Use Solidworks to develop detailed solid models and drawings of components and assemblies. o Test/evaluate operational performance in environmental or extreme conditions o Develop documentation of designs via formal procedures and reports. o Prepare and present designs for customer and certification authority approvals. o Provide design engineering support to internal and external customers. o Provide technical leadership on designs and projects. o Able to work and communicate ideas to a small group of engineers. Knowledge of electrical cabling / mechanical fixture within devices. Requirements: a) BS in Mechanical or Chemical engineering b) 7 -10 years of relevant experience (7 years experience with technical masters). c) Experience with detailed design utilizing solid modeling software. d) Need to show samples of work in PDF models, assembly drawings.
