Lead TIBCO Developer - BusinessEvents
POSITION PURPOSE: The Lead Developer will be responsible for the Supply Chain development projects within IT Supply Chain team and must have ability to work on multiple projects in a matrix environment. Should ensure proper usage of technologies as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production and should have a very good understanding of SOA concepts, data modeling and design/architecture skills. The Lead Developer will also drive the implementation of standards and best practices in technologies such as CEP, Java/JQuery, Web Services, DAO, and data integration. The Lead Developer must have design, development, deployment experience as well as support experience in a production environment. The Lead Developer has proficient knowledge in multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical solution for an entire application to be run in production. The Lead Developer must have excellent technical troubleshooting skills. Should be able to mentor junior team members and has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards and display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space. The Lead Developer should have expert level customer support skill and must be a good team player. The Lead Developer has expert knowledge in one or more programming languages or databases. Excellent understanding of the entire project life cycle. Ability to guide and direct project teams in the requirements gathering, design, and development of complex applications/programs. Must present ideas to review boards. The Lead Developer must work closely with architects to ensure proper system design. Ensures highest quality implementations from design through QA to production. Assists multiple team members and other Project Leads in the day-to-day activities related to project work. Must be able to anticipate hardware and software design needs. The Lead Developer must have the ability to view packages and products to determine their viability within the solution being considered, or if they would be a good solution in other areas.
