Our client, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst. Responsibilities: * Design, develop and maintain Test Plans * Review Functional Specifications and translate into Test Strategies and Regression Test scenarios * Execute Test scenarios during Regression and Integration Testing and document Test progress * Track and report defects/issues found during testing * Work closely with the BAs and Developers on defect fixes Requirements: * BA/BS degree * 3+ years of QA experience and 3+ years of Fund Accounting experience * Understanding of custody operations and fund accounting workflows, as well as an understanding of the key roles assumed by Custodians, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, and Transfer Agents preferred * Solid understanding of Testing methodologies * Familiarity with Test Planning, Test Plan generation and Test Case specification/definition * In depth knowledge of Test scripts creation/execution and defect tracking * Knowledge of HP testing tools such as Quality Center * Eagle STAR experience preferred * Knowledge with PL/SQL preferred * Ability to Multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency using windows-based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and MS Project * Knowledgeable in SWIFT messaging, communication methods such as FTP and MQ, and other systems and Internet technologies * Ability to recognize one's own strengths and limitations, taking appropriate initiative to pursue development activities and seek assistance as needed * Effective in problem solving while exhibiting a realistic understanding of the scope of the issue * Oral communication skills including the ability to facilitate effective meetings
