Job Responsibilities: - Network Implementation Test Engineer (mid shift) will work remotely with field personnel to conduct hardware and software testing and upgrades on customer Wireless Network. - The engineer will follow proven methods of procedures to ensure implementation work does not negatively affect our customers. - Candidate will complete testing / upgrades in accordance with outlined schedules ensuring that all activities are documented accurately. - This is a hands-on network based technical position. Job Qualifications: - Candidate must be proficient with UNIX and the use of text editors. - The preferred candidate would have experience with both Wireline and Wireless technology. - Preferred experience working with Nortel hardware and/or software. - Experience in Telecom network operations is preferred. - The engineer must possess strong interpersonal skills, and be a team player with a desire to learn multiple platforms. - Candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong computer skills.
