SGA has a large financial client in Raleigh, NC looking for an experienced Oracle DBA. Candidates must possess very strong 10G skills and any work with 11G is a plus. He/She most show the ability to solve Oracle Database incidents without supervision and should come from a similar Production Support background. The client would like to see candidates who have experience with Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle Replication Server and a solid grasp of Unix Commands. This is Shift Work (24x7) and requires people who can work 8/9 hour shifts on a shift pattern. It is essential to the success of this role that the incumbent establishes and maintains relationships with regional deploy and operate teams within three regions. These staff will have very strong technical knowledge within Distributed Computing, [UNIX, Windows, Web, Databases] and demonstrate an understanding of how timely responses to alerts support production stability.
