Financial Analyst – Sales Finance Proposal Support This position is part of the Finance, Business Administration department within our Oil and Gas client'sDivision in Houston, Texas, Supporting the sales organization in the development of customer oriented financial proposals of large, complex oil and gas projects. • Position supports sales and marketing department to develop the cost calculation and pricing for large, complex customer proposals, which requires close collaboration and involvement with all relevant parties; Sales, engineering, procurement, contracts and Finance teams. - Performs cost price calculation and cash flow for proposals and commercial risk analysis. - Coordinates cross-divisional calculations with financial counterparts in other Siemens business Segments and factories, following current pricing guidelines, to ensure the profitability targets are achieved. -Involves and organizes whatever commercial expertise is necessary particularly regarding business set-up, including taxes, on-shore, off-shore scoping and pricing. • Support the sales team with commercial contract terms such as Payment milestones, Liquidated Damages, Financial Guarantees, etc. - Understands foreign currency hedging and affects in cost calculations - Position interfaces with senior and global management through the bid approval process. Theoretical/Educational background on current and relevant commercial business issues related to international project business. Demonstrated knowledge of sales support, spreadsheet modeling, general and cost accounting, strong mathematical skills, with the ability to manage variable workload, balancing quantity and quality 2 years in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and tools.
