A large client in the Columbus market is looking for a Desktop Technician to reside at the corporate location. The Desktop Technicians will use the designated processes (Service Request System and Help Desk Tickets) for prioritizing and completing requests within the company's Service Level Agreements (SLA) in place.The support of end-user devices in a timely manner is critical to the business operations. Key accountabilities may include the following: - Monitor Service Request tickets and/or Help Desk tickets related to the Lotus Notes conversion; resolve, update, and close as appropriate - Diagnose and correct software faults generated by end-user devices - Experience with Lotus Notes plus Microsoft Outlook - Thorough knowledge of PC and laptop hardware (A+ certification) - Thorough knowledge of modem configuration and the use of remote control software - Expert knowledge of PC Operating Systems (Win9X, NT, XP) Local Candidates only please.
