Project Description: This project, undertaken at the direction of the CFO and with a strict deadline, will review the top 200 vendors, potentially more, and determine what the payment terms are and work to determine if an opprotunity exists to improve the terms. Once the terms are identified, action are taken to lockdown the terms so AP controls the payment due date. Job Description: The candidate will work with all business units and/or feeder system contacts that utilize AP systems to lock down the vendor terms and allow AP to control the due dates. To accomplish this project the candidate must have: 1. Working knowledge of how to update SQL queries to change parameters and export results to Excel. 2. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze data; such as creating pivot tables, filtering, sorting, vlookup, sumifs, and countifs. 3. Ability to read and understand contractual terms. 4. Basic Outlook skills to set up meetings. 5. Organizational skill to record meeting notes, resolutions, and tracking of required follow-ups.
