Our client, located in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Program Development Lead. They are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented individuals to assist in managing program procedures and process interface for the GSE (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac) Loan Modification Team. The candidate(s) will manage a variety of policy projects/decisions related to loan modification production and strategic program enhancement Main Duties: Responsible for assisting management within an assigned area (e.g., business unit or function area) to implement and manage the corporation's risk framework adherence Exercises judgment and influences business managers and peers to ensure enforcement of program procedures Drives the development, implementation and communication of risk framework goals and strategies Formulates and implements the consistent operational approach to program procedure standards Identifies risks to which the firm is exposed, implements measures to prevent, eliminate or mitigate losses, and monitors outcomes/risk levels for all programs Represents assigned area on all Loan Modification programs requiring review by more senior management Identifying, assessing, prioritizing and socializing all related program procedure dependencies needed to complete any given project Adhering to corporate methodology and minimum required risk and program procedure documentation standards Ensuring developed program procedure plans and decisions reflect realistic (yet tight as practical) completion timelines and that all responsible stakeholders are included in the working group Coordinating and directing efforts of working group in order to accomplish objectives and current priorities Developing and maintaining all related policies and procedures with other Line of Business Policy leads Providing regular and formal communication to senior management regarding status of all program procedure decisions and pending decisions in pipeline Qualifications: Familiarity with Home Loans Servicing process & policies Strong communication skills and ability to influence organization Build relationships with key business partners in credit loss mitigation, compliance, procedures, program enhancement and program management Develop key policy effectiveness indicators to manage and further optimize loan modifications risk and compliance strategies Comfortable being a change agent, ability to think 'outside the box' Demonstrated success in risk management, policy development and deployment or credit loss mitigation Ability to drive action plans and execution. Minimum of two years in operations, compliance, risk, or governance management position Ability to display and execute with "sense of urgency" and a tenacity to meet critical program deadlines This associate successfully works in a team environment, is able to inspect stakeholder feedback to identify, prioritize and escalate major issues 5+ years of experience in underwriting, credit analysis or equivalent Training Knowledge of GSE servicing and loss mitigation guidelines Desired Skills: Proximity to Home Loans Servicing Centers Influence business partners, peers and executive management. Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across the organization and with external partners and advocacy groups. Familiarity with Home Loans Servicing process and technology environment Ability to integrate best practices with project execution to ensure continuous process improvement.
